5 Brothers, 5 Distinct Voices = The Wardlaw Brothers! A Fresh Wind Of Talent In Gospel Music! / "Somewhere Listening" Single Release

5 Brothers, 5 Distinct Voices = The Wardlaw Brothers! A Fresh Wind Of Talent In Gospel Music!

"Somewhere Listening" Single Release From Forthcoming TWB Project GOD'S BEEN THERE

Vidalia, GA -- When thinking of five biological brothers that have made a huge impact on the world through music, two names automatically come to mind: The Jackson 5 and The Winans. Now, with a unique and extraordinary blend of vocal harmony, a fresh wind of talent in Gospel music emerges via five brothers from Georgia known as THE WARDLAW BROTHERS (TWB). Dubbed the “Boyz II Men of Gospel”, TWB consists of four lead singers, and one dynamic bass man. The eldest brother, Carl Anthony “Tony” has the traditional, soulful voice. Martin Luther “Tlyrics” is the lead vocalist with a voice that speaks to the spirit. He is also the primary songwriter, musician and producer.

“Jamie” Cornelius is the melodious bass man that defines TWB’s distinctive sound while Carl III “Carlo” melds in the urban/hip hop flavor. Lastly, Rodney Allen “Baby Boy”, contributes the smooth, serene voice of the five. GOD’S BEEN THERE is TWB’s new project produced by Grammy™ Award winning producer Cedric Thompson, Dove Award winning producer Antonio Neal and Martin Luther Wardlaw.

GOD'S BEEN THERE will release this fall. Available now on iTunes is the group's first radio single “Somewhere Listening”. Derived from an old spiritual, the song talks about how ‘if you live right, you‘ll be somewhere listening’ - in reference to the time that Jesus will return. In May of 2006, TWB suffered the loss of their grandmother, Ella Mae Simpkins. Her death impelled Martin Luther to take a sincere look at life and write the lyrics to “Somewhere Listening” <<(click to listen) and the siblings worked together to complete the beautifully crafted urban contemporary ballad.

Showcasing their versatility, TWB offer a traditional gospel quartet track “Right Now Lord” which is a high-energy, harmonizing song that absolutely ignites automatic foot stomping and spontaneous hand clapping.  Then, the gentlemen toss in the a cappella song “Thank You” and skillfully execute an intricately constructed vocal arrangement.

GOD’S BEEN THERE also features a special tribute to the military.  “Welcome Home Soldier” is TWB’s expression of gratitude and loyalty to this country, the men and women who are overseas fighting, and to those who have lost their lives for our freedom.  This inspirational music video has become widely popular on Youtube and features compelling clips and images of our nation's military.

Dynamic Christian Artist Nicois To Release Unapologetic CD, "Un-Di-Ni-A-Bel" On May 15, 2012

Artist Dropping New Project At Pre-Release Concert In Alexandria, VA, On Saturday, May 12, 2012

(Washington, D.C.) - April 26, 2012 - Christian artist Nicois is known for her edgy, yet embraceable style of music.  Not one to be pigeon-holed musically, the D.C. area-based artist is breaking out of the box, blending gospel, Christian rock and urban sounds.  She is unabashed about her faith and shares her love of God through catchy songs with memorable hooks. Nicois has been blessed to share the stage with artists such as Y'anna Crawley, Vickie Winans, Karen Clark-Sheard, Shirley Caesar, Tye Tribbett, Daryl Coley, Maurette Brown Clark, Martha Munizzi and many others.  Now, the singer/songwriter is readying the release of her brand new CD called Un-Di-Ni-A-Bel.  Influenced by artists such as Nichole Nordeman, Martha Munizzi and Chris Tomlin, Nicois' (pronounced Neh'-quois) music serves to encourage, inspire and uplift.  The artist will have the opportunity to do just that at the pre-release concert taking place at Agape Embassy Ministries (5775 Barclay Drive, Suite 7, Alexandria, VA) on Saturday, May 12th at 6PM.  The artist will be performing cuts from the CD and attendees will be able to purchase the project at the free event.  For more information, log on to www.NicoisMusic.com.

As a Worship Leader and Choir Director at Agape Embassy Ministries, Nicois is thrilled about presenting new music from the project.  "I am overjoyed with the response to the melodies I believe God has laid on my heart to share with his people," says the worshiper.  "On May 12th we are going to laugh, sing, dance and be inspired as we celebrate just how GLORIOUS (Track One) God is.   Get ready to experience a phenomenal blend of Contemporary, Rock, Pop, and Gospel sounds with ONE purpose - to serve as a joyful reminder  that God has been madly in love with us since DAY ONE (Track Three)".  The CD will be available for purchase on iTunes on the official release date of Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

Nicois is a gifted singer-songwriter and it's clear on Un-di-ni-a-bel that she's no novice.  During the 11-track project, it's apparent that Nicois is in her element.  With the makings of a Top Ten hit, the lead single, "Undeniable" (Track Four), has quickly become Nicois' signature song.  Penned by Kurtis Parks, Jemia Ellis and Joel Buckner, the song speaks of the awesomeness of God.  With a slight rock edge, "Undeniable" showcases the artist in a moving vocal performance of an outstanding song.  Those needing a boost of spiritual energy will find it with "Revive Us" (Track Five) and listeners will be enraptured with the mesmerizing track, "Take Everything" (Track Ten).  Reminding us of the eternal love of God, the danceable, electronica feel of "Day One" warms the heart and is a true highlight of the CD.

Nicois' passion lies in creating universal, powerful, and effective music for the Christian believer that stretches across genres, races and even, continents.  Born in Arlington, VA, Nicois' desire to reach the masses through the ministry of melodies was planted at the age of seven when she joined the church choir.  It was after the death of her father, however, that Nicois began to immerse herself into writing and singing.  Gospel music became a major focus and she began singing for a well-known gospel choir named Images of Unity under the direction of Kenny Taylor.  She became the lead singer of a renowned gospel band called Krazy Praise and eventually completed her first solo EP called Everyday Blessings. In October 2011, Nicois released her second EP called Undeniable.

Semi-Finalist Of GMA's Seminar in the Rockies, Jackie O, Delivers Inspiring Sophomore CD, Forgiven

(Fresno, CA) - February 6, 2012 - Jackie O is a singer's singer.  Skillfully weaving vocals around CCM and gospel songs, Jackie uses a variety of musical mediums to convey her love for God.  Possessing a strong and powerful alto voice, she knows how to grab the listener from note one.  In 1998, she grabbed the ears of the judges at the world famous GMA Seminar in the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, walking away with two awards: Third Place Vocalist IV and Third Place in the Top Duet Category, an honor she shared with her husband, Keith Kelley.  Listeners of the artist's most recent release, Forgiven, understand why she's captured the hearts of all who hear her music.
Forgiven is Jackie's sophomore project and it's a very personal release for the artist.  Many of the songs come from her own pen and are a reflection of her life and experiences.  Songs like the title tune, the Caribbean-flavored "Forgiven", and the power ballad "Stronger", showcase the diverse talents of the gifted singer, songwriter and musician.  Many will enjoy the liberating lyrics of "Letting Go".  Peggy Oliver of TheUrbanMusicScene.com says, "'Letting Go,' an exercise of fully trusting in God, has an underlying soulful groove: 'Like a hold of my hand because I have the perfect plan for your life, I'll make it alright.' The ballad 'Show Himself Strong' and the majestic 'Show Me Your Ways (Psalms)', anchored by Jackie O's delightful piano drippings, are suitable for either pop or urban worship environments."  It's clear that Jackie O is a voice of inspiration for today.

Raised in a family of ten siblings, Jackie made her musical "debut" - at age 3 - singing with her three brothers at St. Paul CME Church in West Fresno, where her father was pastor.  She began playing piano at the age of 7, sometimes singing before her father took to the pulpit.  She started teaching music to youngsters and directing the children, youth and adult choirs at the age of 12.  Jackie became aware of her calling to music ministry as a teen, but it wasn't until her late 20s that she answered the call.  She dropped her first release, All About You, in 2008.  Her talents have opened doors worldwide including opportunities to perform in Germany, Egypt, Dubai and Rome.

Currently, the Secretary at the Music Department of Roosevelt School of the Arts, Jackie O teaches piano and voice.  For decades, she's served as a Worship Leader and Music Director at a number of churches in the Fresno area as well as in Alaska and overseas in Germany.  She is also the head of Joyful Noise Music Ministry where she helps churches develop music and worship programs.  In addition to being a musical artist, she's a visual artist and is the creator of a line of greeting cards.  For more information on Jackie O, log on to www.JackieKelley.com.

SHERI JONES-MOFFETT IS SPECIAL GUEST SOLOIST FOR APRIL 7 MADISON MISSION SDA LIVE PRAISE & WORSHIP RECORDING

Huntsville, AL – Praise and worship is not merely a mundane musical segment of the weekly church service experience. For the believer, praise and worship is a responsibility that reflects the true essence of what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Praise and worship is an unrestrained, and unapologetic declaration of Jesus Christ as Creator, Lord, Savior, and Redeemer. On Saturday, April 7 at 8pm, Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church will make its declaration through a live praise and worship recording titled  MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD.

Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church has been making a significant impact in the Huntsville, Alabama area for many years. With a strong reputation for life-changing preaching and community service, the church is equally revered for a potent music ministry. Madison Mission prioritizes music ministry and regards it as an integral part of the church wide evangelistic mission. This fact is evidenced by the formation of its independent record label imprint Madison Avenue Records in 1997. The church and the label made a significant mark with their very first release, OPEN PRAISE LIVE which featured the Madison Mission Mass Choir, Grammy Award winners Mark and Joey Kibble of Take 6, Lisa Page Brooks and Virtue.

Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church and Madison Avenue Records now build on their legacy and dedication to music ministry with a forthcoming series of praise and worship projects called MISSION WORSHIP. “The MISSION WORSHIP series is a worldwide call to a singular focus: Jesus Christ. He is the theme of every song and every note sings His melody. Who He is, what He did, and what He is going to do is our focus,” declares Madison Mission Associate Pastor Damian Chandler. “MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD is the first in our series of praise and worship projects. Why Yield? Well, to Yield is to render what is fitting to the one who is owed. To willingly give up control to another. To give up your breath as if to die. This is the call of the worshipper: To give to God what He is owed, to give up control of my life to the point of the death of me and resurrection of a new creature in Him.”

MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD promises to be a highly  touted   project with a purity and power that speaks to the very heart  of   worshippers around the world. The recording will feature  beautifully   penned and anointed songs of praise and worship that are  certain to   become instant classics.

MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD will feature Grammy-nominated and Stellar Award winning artist Sheri Jones-Moffett, formerly of the ground breaking duo Ted and Sheri, and notably recognized as the powerful lead soloist for the Donald Lawrence smash hit “Encourage Yourself.”  Huntsville-based powerhouse artist Jamel Strong, known for his    impassioned vocal delivery and his heart for worship, will also make a    guest appearance on the project. Production will be led by Madison    Avenue Records president Kelvin Wooten who has produced, written, and    arranged for a diverse mix of some of the biggest names in both gospel and secular music that includes Karen Clark Sheard, Mali Music, Da    Truth, the Katinas, Timothy Wright, Out of Eden, TLC, Jill Scott, the    Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kelly Price, the Isley Brothers, and    Raphael Saadiq.

The MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD live    praise and worship recording will take place on Saturday April 7,  2012   at Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 183  Shelton Rd. Madison, AL. Doors open at 7:30pm and the recording begins  at 8pm.   Tickets are $10 at the door or can be purchased online at MissionWorshipYield.eventbrite.com.

“Come prepared to praise, to worship, and to render to God all that He    is due. It is our hope and prayer that this project is a blessing to  the   body of Christ and reinforces the fact that true worship cannot  begin   and cannot be heard or received by God without completely dying  to self   and letting Him take over. In order to truly worship we must  first   YIELD.”

The brand new project from the Donald Lawrence protégé captures the worshipper and gifted songwriter at her finest with eleven soul-stirring songs. Wilson's lead single, "Speechless", has been getting rave reviews as well as it soars up the gospel music charts. The riveting single is currently at #11 on the Mediabase Chart and at #18 on the BDS Chart.
