About The Music Experience:
The Music Experience is an actual brick and mortar store located in Chicago's South Shore community where patrons stop by, listen to music, relax and just talk about the music they love (or don't love). The Music Experience's noted signature event is The Experience. The brainchild of Dedry Jones, The Experience is an event in which consumers celebrate the release of a CD with an artist showing definite impact on the music industry. Patrons from the entire Chicago community and neighboring states, gain exclusive access to a personal conversation with the artist as he/she is interviewed about their career, their interests and their latest release. This conversation is the beginning of a personal relationship between artist and consumer. The interview is followed by a mini-performance and autograph session. Each attendee receives a CD, as part of their ticket purchase, when they arrive to the venue. The Experience has featured countless Grammy winners and nominees including Maxwell, Patti LaBelle, Al Jarreau, Natalie Cole, Ledisi, Chaka Khan, Kirk Franklin, John Legend, Donna Summer, Ashford and Simpson and many more.
