SHERI JONES-MOFFETT IS SPECIAL GUEST SOLOIST FOR APRIL 7 MADISON MISSION SDA LIVE PRAISE & WORSHIP RECORDING

Huntsville, AL – Praise and worship is not merely a mundane musical segment of the weekly church service experience. For the believer, praise and worship is a responsibility that reflects the true essence of what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Praise and worship is an unrestrained, and unapologetic declaration of Jesus Christ as Creator, Lord, Savior, and Redeemer. On Saturday, April 7 at 8pm, Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church will make its declaration through a live praise and worship recording titled  MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD.

Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church has been making a significant impact in the Huntsville, Alabama area for many years. With a strong reputation for life-changing preaching and community service, the church is equally revered for a potent music ministry. Madison Mission prioritizes music ministry and regards it as an integral part of the church wide evangelistic mission. This fact is evidenced by the formation of its independent record label imprint Madison Avenue Records in 1997. The church and the label made a significant mark with their very first release, OPEN PRAISE LIVE which featured the Madison Mission Mass Choir, Grammy Award winners Mark and Joey Kibble of Take 6, Lisa Page Brooks and Virtue.

Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church and Madison Avenue Records now build on their legacy and dedication to music ministry with a forthcoming series of praise and worship projects called MISSION WORSHIP. “The MISSION WORSHIP series is a worldwide call to a singular focus: Jesus Christ. He is the theme of every song and every note sings His melody. Who He is, what He did, and what He is going to do is our focus,” declares Madison Mission Associate Pastor Damian Chandler. “MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD is the first in our series of praise and worship projects. Why Yield? Well, to Yield is to render what is fitting to the one who is owed. To willingly give up control to another. To give up your breath as if to die. This is the call of the worshipper: To give to God what He is owed, to give up control of my life to the point of the death of me and resurrection of a new creature in Him.”

MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD promises to be a highly  touted   project with a purity and power that speaks to the very heart  of   worshippers around the world. The recording will feature  beautifully   penned and anointed songs of praise and worship that are  certain to   become instant classics.

MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD will feature Grammy-nominated and Stellar Award winning artist Sheri Jones-Moffett, formerly of the ground breaking duo Ted and Sheri, and notably recognized as the powerful lead soloist for the Donald Lawrence smash hit “Encourage Yourself.”  Huntsville-based powerhouse artist Jamel Strong, known for his    impassioned vocal delivery and his heart for worship, will also make a    guest appearance on the project. Production will be led by Madison    Avenue Records president Kelvin Wooten who has produced, written, and    arranged for a diverse mix of some of the biggest names in both gospel and secular music that includes Karen Clark Sheard, Mali Music, Da    Truth, the Katinas, Timothy Wright, Out of Eden, TLC, Jill Scott, the    Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kelly Price, the Isley Brothers, and    Raphael Saadiq.

The MISSION WORSHIP: YIELD live    praise and worship recording will take place on Saturday April 7,  2012   at Madison Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 183  Shelton Rd. Madison, AL. Doors open at 7:30pm and the recording begins  at 8pm.   Tickets are $10 at the door or can be purchased online at MissionWorshipYield.eventbrite.com.

“Come prepared to praise, to worship, and to render to God all that He    is due. It is our hope and prayer that this project is a blessing to  the   body of Christ and reinforces the fact that true worship cannot  begin   and cannot be heard or received by God without completely dying  to self   and letting Him take over. In order to truly worship we must  first   YIELD.”
                                            - Bruce Bean - VP, Madison Avenue Records
